Nigeria Has Sunk Into Barbarism Under Buhari – Murray Bruce

Senator Ben Murray-Bruce (PDP-Bayelsa East) says Nigeria has sunk into barbarism under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a post on his Twitter page on Wednesday, the lawmaker stated that the present administration has not taken any action against killer herdsmen.

Murray-Bruce wrote: “In the past three years Nigeria has sunk into barbarism not because of the thousands of death from killer herdsmen, but because of the fact that no one has been arrested, tried and sentenced or executed for these deaths.

“Where there is impunity there can not be unity. Where there is injustice there cannot be settled peace. Where there is equality before the law there cannot be community between the people.

“Finally, where there is favoritism from the top there cannot be patriotism from the bottom.”
