More than 300 Internally Displaced Persons currently at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) camp in Adamawa state are being relocated by the state government.

Their relocation is coming after they lived at the NYSC camp for three years.

It was gathered that although some of the IDPs were refusing to go to Malkohi camp, most of them have already moved to their new camp.

The state government said the camp will now accommodate corps members posted to Adamawa for orientation camping.

According to Channels TV, the Executive Secretary, Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency, Haruna Furo, said while some of the displaced persons are to be in Malkohi camp in Yola, others will be going to the host communities or their liberated hometowns.
