Nigeria Decides: Police Speaks On Man Caught With Written Results

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Abia State Command, has said it is not aware of the arrest of a man allegedly with written election result sheets.

There have been reports that the man was caught in the unlawful possession of election materials, sheets for the postponed presidential and National Assembly elections.

However, the Abia Command of the NPF via its spokesman Geoffrey Ogbonna has said it is not aware of the arrest.

“From our end here, we do not have such a report. I only read the report in the social media,” he added.

According to him, “We pray that God will touch the REC’s heart to play the game according to the rule.

“We also appeal to REC and PDP to stop the conspiracy and allow a free, fair and credible election.”
