Wikki Tourists midfielder Harrison Madu is confident the Bauchi side can still advance to the next round of the Caf Confederation Cup, despite a 2-0 deficit from the first leg in Freetown.

The Nigerian side will take on the Armed Forces (RSLAF) FC of Sierra Leone in the second leg fixture this Sunday in Bauchi.

They will earn a first round berth if they can overcome their visitors by 3-0, 4-1 or at worst cancel out the 2-0 deficit and hope for a favourable outcome in shootout.

And Madu believes the Bauchi Elephant have the quality and are motivated to get the job done in front of their fans

“We have had a lengthy crisis talk. Our players have resolved that it is time to change the tide. This is not about our coaches, because they are not going to play. It’s about the key actors and we have agreed to take the requisite steps. These are immediate reasons we must come out scoring and protect our rear guard as well,” Madu told npfl.ng.
