Deontay Wilder has revealed why he was knocked out by WBC title holder Tyson Fury in their triology match in front of 15,820 fans at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Wilder who had dropped Fury to the ground twice was knocked out in the 11 round by Fury who had also dropped him twice.
Speaking after he was taken to the hospital, Wilder stated that Fury’s size gave him problems.
“I did my best, but it wasn’t good enough,” said Wilder.
“I’m not sure what happened. I know that in training, he did certain things, and I also knew that he didn’t come in at 277 to be a ballet dancer.
“He came to lean on me, try to rough me up and he succeeded.”
