Former Senator Shehu Sani of Kaduna Central has said the South-West tolerates President Muhammadu Buhari’s government because of 2023.
According to Sani, the South-West believe that Buhari will hand over power to the region after his tenure in 2023.
He also claimed that the northern part of Nigeria may not be okay with the state of things in Nigeria but have kept mum since Buhari is one of them.
In a tweet on his handle, he wrote that, “The North’s tolerance to wrong is because one of their own is in Power.
“The South West tolerance to wrong is because they are expecting one of theirs to be next in Power.”
“Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) is studying Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari and will make it’s position known soon,” National Publicity Secretary of the Forum, Muhammad Ibrahim Biu, said in brief statement.
