Kaduna Airport Ready As Police Promise Security

Police have said adequate measures are in place to ensure security at the Kaduna Airport, ahead of the transfer of operations from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja to Kaduna State.
Assistant Inspector General of Police, Alkali Usman, said the force have assessed their levels of deployment on the road and earmarked where they will patrol.
”We have also made arrangement to protect the airport and equipment, building and everywhere.
”We have also ensured that all hotels and places of interest are protected and guarded, and we are going to increase patrol visibility,” he said.
Meanwhile, Captain Mohammed Joji, Chairman, Coordinating Committee on the Abuja relocation, said the Kaduna International Airport has been re-branded with ultramodern equipment .
Joji said items such as, lightening system, distance measuring equipment, solar power and others were successfully installed.
He also added that all the equipment were tested and are working perfectly.
