We Have Sufficient PMS, Avoid Panic Buying -NNPC To Nigerians

The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has assured that it has enough Premium Motor Spirit to meet Nigerians’ needs.

NNPC urged Nigerians against panic buying, adding that all rumours should be ignored.

This was in a post on its official Facebook page signed by the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Garba Deen Muhammad.

It read, “#NNPCLtd wishes to assure the public that the Company has sufficient PMS stock to meet the needs of Nigerians. The public is therefore, advised not to engage in panic buying of petrol; and to ignore all rumours that may suggest otherwise.

“In line with the existing laws of the land, #NNPCLtd is deeply committed to ensuring energy security for the country.”
