Troops Intercept Baby Factory Syndicate In Jos

A special task force known as Operation Safe Haven has intercepted a baby factory syndicate in Plateau state, Nigeria’s north-central region.
The task force is tasked with maintaining peace and security in Plateau and part of Bauchi state.
Commander of the security operatives , Major General Rogers Nicholas, said the group which specialises in producing babies for onward sales to other states of the federation was caught following intelligence report.
The group, according to the force, comprised of eight men and three women operating in Jos, capital of the state
And during interrogation, one of the suspects said the group has a network spread across the country. The suspect further revealed that they usually entice unsuspecting young ladies with mouth-watering offers. It was also gathered that, in other cases, they drug them with substances that lead to forced labour.
