Tinubu Advocates For Right Of The Girl Child
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu,has advocated for the right of the girl child.
The former governor of Lagos State said this in Commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child.
He said, “We have an obligation to the girl-child to guarantee her education and full development in a safe, inclusive, and growth-enabling environment where she is free from unnecessary restrictions and harmful behaviors.
“That can only happen with consistent investments, policy action, social reforms, and constant awareness on the precious importance of the girl-child to our aspirations of building a civilized, rights respecting and prosperous nation.
“As we mark another commemoration of the International Day of the Girl-Child, let us refocus attention on these obligations and commit to meaningful actions, both big and small, to ensure their attainment.”
