This Generation Doesn’t Like Conscious Music – Dayo Adeneye

Media personality, Dayo Adeneye, popularly known as D1, has revealed why it is difficult for musicians of today to sing conscious music.

Speaking when he appeared on the Honest Bunch podcast, D1 said conscious music can’t attain commercial success 8n today’s world.

He said, “Right now, the world is not ready to listen to anything conscious. Is it this generation that doesn’t know their gender that you want to preach conscious lyrics to?

“Today, someone with beards would tell you, ‘I’m Linda’. Is it that kind of person you want to preach conscious lyrics to?”

Concerning relationship, D1 stated that guys now see ladies as sexual objects because the ladies present themselves as having no other thing to tender asides from their body.
