Ondo 2016: Tension As Appeal Court Postpone Ruling Three Times In One Day

By Concise News correspondents

The appeal court ruling in the PDP governorship tussle in Ondo State resumed sitting this morning after getting the nod from the supreme court on Monday.

The atmosphere was, however, very tense as the ruling scheduled for 9am was postponed to 12pm. The affected parties became more worried when sitting was later postponed to 1pm.

In attendance at the court sitting are Chairman caretaker committee of PDP, Ahmed Makarfi, factional candidate Eyitayo Jegede, Tom Ikimi, and former speaker house of representatives, Emeka Ihedioha.

The other factional candidate in the Ali Modu Sheriff camp, Barr. Jimoh Ibrahim, has not been spotted as at the time of filing this report. His supporters, however, can be seen discussing in hushed tones around the court premises.
