Music Lovers Unhappy Over Tekno’s Absence At Headies

The highly successful Tekno did not show up at the Headies Awards.
Tekno, whose nomination was cancelled before the event yesterday, was sorely missed by his fans.
The cancellation was not an oversight nor an indictment of his singing prowess.
The “Pana” singer, who was recognised at the MAMAs in October, was reportedly disqualified due to his non-participation in the promotional events leading up to the Awards.
Organisers of the event disclosed that all nominees were expected to take part in the build-up to the Awards.
