Former Nigeria International and coach Samson Siasia says he does not want Super Eagles to draw Germany at the group phase of the 2018 World Cup.

Siasia said the Eagles are good but will find it hard if they meet a top side like Germany.

He said Germany’s victory at the 2017 Confederations Cup shows their depth.

“No team at the World Cup will be pushover or bad team,” the ex-Flying Eagles coach told Brila FM.

“I believe the Super Eagles team have what it takes to cause trouble for a lot of better teams but I don’t want to see them drawn alongside some top organised teams.

“Looking at the Germany side. Their Team B, comprising of young players took the Confederations Cup by storm with no or little international experience, they won.”

The World Cup draw will be held in Russia on 1 December, while the competition would run from June 14 to July 15, 2018.
