Police Arrest Kidnappers In Niger
The Niger State Police on Wednesday paraded a gang of 11 kidnappers, including a leader of a vigilante group in Alawa community in Shiroro Local Government Area of the state.
The gang is allegedly responsible for the kidnap and murder of 19 persons in the state.
The Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Jimoh Moshood who led the parade told journalists that the suspected kidnappers allegedly slaughtered their victims after extorting money from them.
A leader of the gang, Lawal Kwali, who admitted to the crimes, said he assigned his members to kidnap innocent victims for money and if they failed to pay the ransom they should be murdered.
