Real Madrid have decided to part ways with coach Zinedine Zidane at the end of the season, reports in Spanish media say.

It was gathered that the European champions are already in talks with German coach Joachim Low.

The Galaticos face a difficult situation in getting the 57-year-old. He has a contract with the German Football Association (DFB), which runs until after the end of Euro 2020.

However, President Florentino Perez is optimistic that the Spanish giants will lure Low to accept the job and resume after the World Cup this summer.

Zidane, who guided Real to the La Liga title last season, also led the Bernabeu side to a defence of the Champions League crown.

The team are, however, currently in fourth spot in the League, 16 points behind leaders Barcelona.

He also oversaw a 3-0 defeat to their arch rivals at the Bernabeu in their final game before the winter break in December.
