Southeast Leaders Meet Over Anambra Election, IPOB

Governors of Imo, Ebonyi, Abia, Anambra, and Enugu on Sunday held a meeting in Enugu for the first time since the proscription of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Also at the meeting were lawmakers in the Federal and State Houses of Assembly and the President General of Ohanaeze Indigbo, Chief John Nwodo, as well as the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.

It was gathered that issues concerning IPOB and the November 18 governorship election in Anambra state topped the agenda of the gathering.
