She started out as a presenter at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), then she branched into acting in the 70’s. She died on the 6th of July 2016 at 82.

Actress Henrietta Kosoko

Born as Henrietta Emumejiakpo, She was the wife of the famous Jide Kosoko. Sources revealed that her death followed a battle with diabetes.

The Delta born died on the 6th of June, 2016 at 52.

Popularly known as elder Maya, he was an Eastern born actor and was arguably the oldest actor in Nigeria before his death.

Mr Labista a name he earned from the movie Labista, died of liver disease which is visible in his sick picture.

Husband to top Rhythm 93.7 OAP Phoenix (Adeola Osinuga) died on the 22nd of march 2016.

He was an artiste and songwriter. Normoreloss wrote Jaywon’s hit song “This year”. The “let them say” and “Ololufe” artists died of typhoid fever.

The ‘Stand’ album artiste played an impeccable role during OJB’s kidney crisis and would always be remembered for that.

Born on the 7th of June 1958, prince was the handsome King of the stage, he was a major contender with Micheal Jackson but died on the 21st of April 2016 at 58.

British Born Artiste who started his career in the early 80s with Andrew Ridgeley was acknowledged as the 40th famous artiste that ever lived. George Smith died on the 25th of December, 2016.

OJB Jezreel, as he was popularly called, died of kidney failure on the 14 June, 2016.

He was a great singer, songwriter and record producer. The ‘i’m the one whose searching’ singer had a kidney transplant three years to his death and had since been going for dialysis. Prior to his death, the ‘You are my African Queen’ songwriter complained about his medical expenses.
