Nigerian champions Rangers International are in talks with Air Peace, to meet their transportation demand for the 2017 CAF Champions League.

The Federal Government has granted permission to the airliner to operate direct services to China and other locations globally, through the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.

General Manager of Rangers Ozor Chibuzor disclosed that they had held a series of “successful and progressive talks” with the management of Air Peace.

“This development is in furtherance to the team’s 2016/2017 CAF Champions League quest and other related flight issues.

“However, we have not concluded or dotted the lines on a definite agreement,” he said.

The Flying Antelopes’ pre-season camping will end before the commencement of the Super 4 Football Tournament on 7 December. The competition will hold at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.

The club will also defend its 2015/2016 NPFL title and participate in the 2016/2017 Federation Cup.
