Presidency Denies $500m Donation To Clinton’s Campaign

The Presidency has denied widespread reports of President Buhari’s $500m donation to the campaign of Hillary Clinton for the US Presidential elections.
According to Senior Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the president does not have such money to throw around. He further added that the President would not make such donation for any reason.
“President Buhari’s Nigeria doesn’t have this kind of money to throw around. Even if the money is there, this President is the least likely person to give it as donation, and for what?
Return Of Loot
Meanwhile, the Federal government is set to repatriate stolen funds from the United states. According to Shehu, this is because Nigeria has won judgment on the $480m Abacha loot.
“As we speak, President Buhari is concluding agreements with the U.S. to return our stolen money in their banks.”
“An FGN account has already been given for the return of $1m from Alamiesiegha.”
“Judgement on the $480m Abacha loot has also been won. Our Attorney-General, Malami (SAN) will be in the US next week. He will speak to the Department of Justice, USDOJ on the next steps for the return of that as well.”
