Mauricio Pochettino has announced that all is well between Neymar and Kylian Mbappe at Paris St-Germain which he manages.
This is in reaction to claims that both players are angry at each other after Mbappe expressed displeasure at Neymar when he was substituted in the club’s 2-0 win against Montepellier.
Speaking ahead of PSG’s clash against Manchester City in the Champions League, Pochettino stated that he has spoken with both players and that all is well between them.
“They are fantastic guys. These things happen. There are always things between top players. They are competitors and want to win.
“I have spoken to them both individually and they have also spoken together to each other. There are photographs from training of them enjoying themselves.
“The target is to win. If there is a small incident then it sometimes creates a big wave. But that’s all outside the club. In reality it’s a minor problem. It’s really nothing,” Pochettino said.
