Plateau APC Leaders, Supporters Defect to PDP

Plateau All Progressive Congress (APC) Legal Adviser, Joseph Mani, and his supporters Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The defectors are supporters of the Chairman, House Committee on Rules and Business in the House of Representatives, Edward Pwajok (SAN).

Joseph Mani, who led the defectors on Saturday, said they were leaving the APC because the party was empty and had nothing good to offer Nigerians.

He Said: “We are defecting to the PDP to support Edward Pwajok in mobilising massive votes for the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, its governorship candidate, Senator Jeremiah Useni, and all the party’s candidates in the state.

“We believe that with Atiku as president and Useni as governor of Plateau State, Nigerians will have peace and the IDPs in Plateau State will be resettled. The APC is full of deceit. They have been complaining every day because the party has nothing to offer; it is on that ground that we are defecting to the PDP”

Former Minister of Youth and Sport and Plateau State PDP Chairman, Damishi Sango, who received the defectors in the Barkin-Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, urged Useni to work closely with Atiku if elected into power to resettle the Plateau IDPs.
