PDP Names Umahi’s Replacement As Ebonyi Gov

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has named Iduma Igariwe and Mr Fred Udogwu as the new Governor and Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State respectively.

This followed the sacking of Governor Dave Umagi and his Deputy Mr Igwe by a Federal High Court.

The PDP has now asked the Independent National Electoral Commission to consider its nominees.

“Following the removal of Governor Dave Umahi and his Deputy Mr Igwe of Ebonyi state by the Federal High Court in Abuja, and in line with the Order of the court, the PDP has submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the names of Hon. Iduma Igariwe & Mr. Fred Udogwu as the new Governor and Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State respectively,: the PDP said.
