Former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, has slammed the Buhari government over its plan to send former Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, abroad for medical treatment.
Ekwueme, 85, during the week collapsed was admitted at the Intensive Care Unit of Memfys Hospital for Neurosurgery in Trans-Ekulu, Enugu State.
Okupe, a member of the Accord Party, described the decision to fly Ekwueme abroad as “unnecessary”, stressing that “there are limits to propaganda.”
Okupe tweeted: “The press release on the evacuation of Chief Ekwueme by FG is unnecessary, indecorous & unprofessional. There are limits 2 propaganda”.
