Obasanjo Will Support Atiku To Be President – Aide

Former president Olusegun Obasanjo will support his then vice, Atiku Abubakar, to be president in 2023, the Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation has said.

This was revealed by the Commissioner for Information, Delta State, and spokesman for the organisation, Charles Aniagwu.

According to Aniagwu, between 1999 and 2007, Atiku assisted the one time Head of State to reposition the nation’s economy.

“Atiku was more or less Obasanjo’s candidate, so if he supported him that much, I don’t think anything has changed between 2019 and now.

“The same God that led him to support Atiku in 2019 is still alive and will lead him to know that Atiku.

“Obasanjo saw the ability of Atiku in 1999, and he chose him against all odds to become his running mate”, NAN quoted him saying.
