Obanikoro Returns To Nigeria, Visits EFCC In Abuja

Obanikoro has returned to Nigeria from the United States of America on the invitation of EFCC to answer questions over the alleged N4.75 billion arms fraud.

The former Minister of State for Defence landed in Lagos through Amsterdam around 7:45am. He left to Abuja immediately to respond to an appointment with EFCC operatives on Monday.

EFCC is investigating a company alleged to owned by Obanikoro’s sons, for receiving N4.75 bn arms funds from the office of the former National Security Adviser

According to EFCC source his sons Babajide and Gbolahan, received a total of N4.745 billion paid into the Diamond Bank account of their firm.

Obanikoro had relocated to the United States after the APC government assumed power. He has stated in times past that he will come answer to the allegations against him if invited.
