Finally, the Oba of Benin was crowned and handed the staff of office in a grand ceremony held in Benin city today, Thursday.

Several dignitaries including Nigeria’s Vice President, Osinbanjo, Gov. Adams Oshiomole, Ooni of Ife, and the Emir of Kano attended the colorful coronation ceremony of Prince Eheneden Erediauwa as the 39th Oba of Benin Kingdom.

Nigerians business mogul, Aliko Dangote, was also in attendance.
