NYSC Announces October Pass Out for Batch ‘C’ Stream One

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially disclosed that Batch ‘C’ Stream One Corps members will complete their service and pass out in the month of October. This announcement was made by the Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier General YD Ahmed, during a statement issued on Monday in Abuja.
As the corps members prepare for their transition to the next phase of their lives, the NYSC has issued a stern warning against embarking on night journeys as they make their way back to their families and communities.
The NYSC has planned a series of week-long activities for the outgoing Corps members, which include initiatives related to job creation and employment opportunities post-service. These activities will be facilitated by experienced officers from both NYSC and the National Directorate of Employment (NDE).
The formal distribution of certificates to the corps members will take place at the Local Government level on Thursday, October 12, 2023, as part of the pass-out ceremony.
Brigadier General YD Ahmed, in his address, commended the departing Corps members for their invaluable contributions to national development. He specifically highlighted their noteworthy performances during the 2023 general elections and their various interventions in sectors such as health, education, rural development, and others that contribute significantly to the nation’s economy.
The Director-General also urged the corps members to uphold the values and ideals of patriotism, diligence, loyalty, and self-empowerment that they have imbibed during their period of national service.
