NPA Partners NLNG To Boost Revenue

Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said it will partner with the management of Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) to enhance revenue generation.
NPA MD, Hadiza Usman stated this while receiving the management of NLNG in her office in Lagos.
According to the General Manager, Public Affairs of NPA, Chief Michael Ajayi,
Usman pledged a seamless communication and constructive engagement with NLNG with a view to promoting harmonious inter-agency collaboration.
The Managing Director said that the NPA would work to remain competitive in the sub-sector through effective tariff regime.
She also said that the management would pay premium to the maintenance of infrastructure with a view to ensuring that efficient and effective operations thrived across board.
The Synergy
Consequently, Usman said that the NPA would ensure robust synergy with the management of NLNG. This is in order to enhance revenue accrued from its Bonny operations.
She added that a committee comprising NPA and NLNG officials would meet in the coming days to look at issues between the two organisations. This is to ensure the success of the NLNG projects.
Managing Director of NLNG, Mr Tony Attah, in his speech expressed appreciation for the reception accorded his team. Attah further stated that the visit was necessitated by the need to foster a stronger partnership with the ports authority.
He also said the management of NLNG would nurture the synergy to maturity. He added that both organisations have professionals available to make this work.
