NiMA Pays Patient’s Hospital Bill

The NiMSA president Mr. Ejim Egba Skillz with his entourage, on Saturday, paid a kind visit on behalf of NiMSAites to Mr. Khalid Haruna, and helped him foot his bills in conjunction with from JUMSA.

Earlier, the NiMSA president Mr. Ejim Egba Skillz with his entourage, paid a kind visit on behalf of NiMSAites to Mr. *Khalid Haruna*, a 300-level Medical student from the College of the Health Sciences University of Jos responding to a call for help received through *Hope Yusuf* the Welfare Officer of the Jos University Medical Student’s Association (JUMSA).

Mr. Haruna suffered from typhoid perforation and underwent surgery at the Jos University teaching hospital JUTH permanent site.

Following his 7-week stay at the hospital, his total bill accumulation was estimated at Two hundred Thousand Naira only (#200,000).

The NiMSA president expressed his sympathy to Mr. Haruna and his family and assured them of the love and support from NiMSAites.

He relayed the goodwill messages of all Nigerian students and emphasized the special need for Medical Students’ enrollment in the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).
