Nigerian Dancer Jason Pulls Out Of World Record Dance Attempt

Budding Nigerian dancer Jason has pulled out of his Guinness world record dance Marathon attempt.
Jason, whose real name is Joshua Marcus Usoro, revealed that he would not embark on the dance challenge due to unforeseen circumstances.
“We are deeply sorry for the late post on updates #JasonGWR,” he wrote on Instagram.
”We announce the stop to the attempt of longest dance marathon by an individual (after 63 hrs 15mins) due to unforseen circumstance. To all of our sponsors and supporters, we really appreciate the indulgence.”
The Nigerian dancer was attempting to break a world record for “Longest Dance Marathon by an Individual” from August 20 to 28, 2017, at the Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos.
He was to smash the record of Kalamandalam Hemalatha of India since 2010, which lasted for 123 hours and 15 minutes. Hemalatha won with her Mohiniyattam dance.
