Nigerian Army Storms Port Harcourt

The Nigerian Army has announced it would carry out its annual route march in Port Harcout on 17 February.
Deputy Director of Army Public Relations of the 6 Division Port Harcourt, Col. Aminu Iliyasu, made the statement in Port-Harcourt on Thursday.
Iliyasu said the route march was a one day exercise used to assess the physical fitness and endurance of the troops.
”The route march will kick off from 6 a.m. along Ikwerre Road-Rumuigbo Roundabout-NTA Road-East-West Road to Rumuokoro and then terminate at the Port Harcourt Barracks,” he said.
Aminu said residents and commuters should not panic when they witness large body of troops.
