Nigeria Climbs Four Steps On FIFA Ranking

The Super Eagles have climbed four places to 60th in the world and 11th in Africa on the latest FIFA monthly ranking released on Thursday.
African champions Cote d’Ivoire maintained their number one spot on the continent and 31st position in the world; while Senegal, Algeria, Tunisia, and Ghana make up the continent’s top five.
Meanwhile, Argentina maintained their status as the highest ranked football playing nation in the world, while world champions Germany, and Brazil have moved into the top five.
