B2B Entertainment Ltd, on Boxing Day, organised a party for the less privileged in Abuja.
NAN reports that, in an attempt to help families cut the cost of having fun, the Non Governmental Organisation decided to host a party at the Jabi Lake and Park, Abuja.
Oredola Akinniranye, a B2B Entertainment official, said the party which was part of the organisation’s activities, was aimed at lifting the face of the less privileged.
In her words, “We decided to organise a party for less privileged children within the FCT to make them happy.”
“Poor parents may not have what it takes to make their children happy this season; so, we arranged for a bouncing castle, Santa Claus and other things to make the children to have fun and be happy,” she said.
Helping The Less Privileged
She was very compassionate about not letting the Nigerian economy affect those families who might be discouraged from going to public fun fares due to lack of funds.
“People came around free places like this to have fun because they didn’t have the money to spend.
“They came out probably because they cannot catch fun at home so they just had to leave their houses.
“They look around and go back to their houses,” she said.
Akinniranye urged members of the public to imbibe the act of giving back to the less privileged, especially children.
