NDLEA Didn’t Arrest, Poison Mohbad – Kemi Olunloyo

Journalist Kemi Olunloyo has stated that late singer Mohbad was not poisoned by the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, as being peddled by some quarters.
The rumour was sparked by a video showing a tearful Mohbad lamenting that he was given a substance to drink while in the custody of security operatives. He added that he was the only one made to take the drink while other members of the Naira Marley record label that signed him were spared.
This has since been disputed by the Spokesman for the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, who said Mohbad was not among members of the Naira Marley records that the agency arrested.
Corroborating the NDLEA, Olunloyo stated on X, “I will DEFEND the
@ndlea_nigeria. If you want go say Marwa has paid me if them born you. That General does not entertain BS. You will see DSS at your door the same way PSquare arrested that guy. Your Twitter account is easily tracked. Be careful defaming me saying I’m working for the NDLEA. Stop calling Naira Marley their Ambassador. Gistlover and Tonto are WRONG. They did not arrest Mohbad let alone gave him a white substance to drink. Defaming the government is a big crime. Last time I’m posting this.”
