NDLEA Arrests Drug Kingpin In Lagos

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has arrested the kingpin who sent a widow and a mother of four to push drugs for him.

The agency had last week arrested the widow and mother for trying to smuggle drugs to Saudi Arabia.

In an operation in Ikorodu, Lagos, the kingpin behind their attempt was arrested by the NDLEA operatives.

NDLEA Spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this in a terse statement on Sunday.

He wrote, “Barely a week after a widow and mother of 4 was arrested attempting to traffic cocaine hidden in her footwear to Saudi Arabia, another mule on a suicide mission to the holy land with cocaine concealed in his sandals was weekend arrested at Lagos airport by @ndlea_nigeria officers who this time succeeded in capturing the kingpin recruiting them for this suicide mission in a swift follow up operation in Ikorodu. Another syndicate dismantled! #NDLEA.”
