NDA Fresh Attacks, Nigeria Loses 300,000bpd

The Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) have carried out fresh attacks on three crude oil truck lines in Bayelsa state. The attack was carried out on Tuesday night by what they described as “Elite Strike Team 03”.
This facilities Nembe 1, 2, and 3 truck are operated by three multinational companies, Agip, Oando and Shell in Niger Delta. This fresh attack is set to shut down 300,000 barrel daily supply capacity from the lines to Bonny export terminal in Bayelsa State
Spokesman of the Avengers, Mudoch Agbinibo, said the operation was in response to “Operations Sharkbite” carried out by the Nigerian Army.
Agbinibo said the Naval component of the military was carrying out an art of terrorism commissioned.
“The activities of Navy establishment are orchestrated by some elements of the ruling political class to continuously undermine any effort by the Nigerian state to addressing the legitimate demands of the people of the Niger Delta.”
“We are only reiterating our strong resolve that, time is running against the Nigerian government, that there is doom ahead.”
“The Nigerian government needs our cooperation more than we need the government as it concerns the extraction of the crude oil and hydrocarbon resources in our God-given land.”
Expect More Attacks
The self-styled ‘Brigadier General’ said the Avengers were determined to continue the war by all means necessary. This is until that environment embarked on genuine dialogue and negotiations.
“We want the peace with honour, we don’t want the Peace of Our Time.”
“Since that moment military was drafted into the Niger Delta as an instrument of suppression to our fatherland against all peaceful protest and legitimate demands the fear had gone.”
“The message is getting stronger with more messengers”
The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has however confirmed the attacks on oil trunk lines. It came a day after the visit of the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ibas to Bayelsa State.
Niger Delta elders had on 1st of November 2016 put up sixteen key demands presented to President Muhammadu Buhari to end the crisis.
