Naira Redesign Policy Ill-advised – Kwankwaso

The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has said the naira Redesign policy is ill-advised.
The policy has seen protests across the country which have turned violent as angry Nigerians burn banks for refusing to give them their money and also rejecting the old notes.
Reacting, Kwankwaso urged Nigerians to maintain calm but express their anger at the polls.
He tweeted, “I’m concerned about reports of tensions and fracas in some parts of the country over the biting effects of the Naira redesign policy.
“While I maintain that the policy is ill-advised and timed, I call on all Nigerians to maintain law and order, and to avoid violent reactions. I also urge all of us to express our collective anger at the polls on February 25. Let us all endure, persevere and keep our country safe.”
