Moyes Stands By Penalty Decision In West Ham Loss To Man United

West Ham United manager, David Moyes, has stood by his decision which led to the miss of a last minute penalty against Manchester United on Sunday.

West Ham had taken the lead before Cristiano Ronaldo equalised for United.

Jesse Lingard then doubled the lead for the visitors who looked good for a three point until a penalty was awarded to West Ham.

The penalty which was assigned to Noble was saved by David De Gea to give United all three points.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “The thinking behind it? Look at his record.

“I’d have been more disappointed if I hadn’t made the decision.

“I made the decision, and it didn’t quite work today. I was more influenced by Noble’s record, rather than West Ham’s record.”
