The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has officially inaugurated the new Governing Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) in Abuja. Additionally, he formally decorated Dr. Ike Neliaku, fnipr, as the 15th President of the NIPR during the ceremony.
Expressing his pleasure at the event, Minister Idris highlighted the significance of his professional association with the Institute. As a Fellow of the NIPR, he shared his past role as Chairman of the Kaduna State Chapter from 2004 to 2008. The Minister conveyed his satisfaction with the occasion, emphasizing the fulfillment it brought, given his history and connection with the Institute.
Looking forward, Minister Idris conveyed his best wishes to the newly inaugurated Governing Council, expressing confidence in their ability to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
