Mastermind Behind Adamu Gabdo’s Murder Nabbed in Lagos

In a major breakthrough, the Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH) Tactical Team successfully apprehended the prime suspect, Mr. Philip Gokas, also known as Jaykimo, believed to be the mastermind behind the murder of Alhaji Adamu Idris Gabdo, the Ardo of Panyam in Plateau State.

Following weeks of relentless pursuit, OPSH tracked down and arrested Gokas in the Ogba area of Lagos State. Shockingly, he was found leisurely enjoying himself and sipping beer at a football viewing centre. Gokas’ arrest underscores the commitment and collaborative efforts of OPSH, sending a stern warning to criminals that justice will prevail.

Gokas, who has confessed to the crime, is now providing crucial information that could lead to the arrest of additional individuals involved in the heinous act. This success is a testament to the unwavering dedication of security agencies and their capacity to hold criminals accountable, as directed by Chief of Defence Staff, Gen CG Musa.

Recall that Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Taoreed Lagbaja, had tasked OPSH with recovering the victim’s body and bringing the perpetrators to justice. The OPSH Tactical team successfully recovered the body in a remote area of Bauchi state, preventing potential reprisals and further violence.
