Popular Country singer and songwriter, Lari White has passed away at the age of 52 after battling with cancer.

The artiste who rose to limelight in 1988, died in Nashville Tennessee on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.

Born on 13 May, 1965, Nashville began her singing career in her family’s gospel band before she bagged a degree in vocals and music engineering at the University of Miami.

White made her first appearance on The Nashville Network ‘You Can Be A Star’ talent show in 1988. She emerged winner of the competition and got a recording deal with Capitol Nashville.

She is survived by her husband, Chuck Cannon, and three children.
