APGA Chieftain Tells Igbos How Biafra Could Be Actualized

1. Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Blasts Keyamo In Latest Broadcast

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has lambasted Festus Keyamo for saying that WAEC certificated is not a prerequisite to becoming president in Nigeria.

Kanu delivered a broadcast on Saturday monitored by Concise News, which focused on the qualifications required to run for the post of the President in Nigeria in reaction to comments made Keyamo, that it is not necessarily compulsory to possess a WAEC certificate to become President of Nigeria.

Concise News had reported earlier that Keyamo, who was the spokesperson of the 2019 Buhari Campaign Organization, made this comment last Sunday when he appeared on Channels Television.

However, reacting to Keyamo’s claim, Kanu said, “The ignorant lawyer went on to say you don’t need WAEC certificate to become a president.

“This clearly unlearnable and quack senior advocate of Nigeria will end up as a judge in Nigeria,” he stated.

2. APGA Chieftain Tells Igbos How Biafra Could Be Actualized

Rommy Ezeonwuka, a Board of Trustees member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Rommy Ezeonwuka has said that agitation for Biafra is wrong if Igbos continue development of other cities outside Igboland.

He expressed concern over Igbos continued establishment of factories in diaspora without recourse to investing in their homelands.

Ezeonwuka who spoke to newsmen in Nnewi on Saturday insisted that Igbos must embrace the think-home philosophy before the Biafra republic could be achieved.

He said it would not be an overstatement to say that the Igbos were the most enterprising race in black Africa but have not been able to harness their potentialities to their best advantage.

He said, “Nobody should give Ndigbo Biafra. We already have Biafra here with us and Biafra belongs to us as was declared on May 30, 1967. It is an act of stupidity to ask anybody to give you Biafra.

“The land of Biafra is crying because our people in diaspora have abandoned it to develop other areas like Abuja, Lagos and other places and you are here telling them to give you Biafra.”

Ezeonwuka, who is the propriator of Rogenny Games Village, Oba, maintained that things could be produced in Biafran land, labeled made in Biafra and exported to other countries of the world with general acceptability.

2. Police Speak On Murder Of Pro-Biafra Prophet In Enugu

The Enugu Police Command has confirmed the alleged mysterious death of a prophet, Anthony Nwoko, in his room and has commenced an investigation.

Concise News gathered that the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Ebere Amaraizu, made this known in a statement in Enugu on Friday.

Amaraizu disclosed that the incident happened on April 16, 2019, at the resident of the deceased.

The PPRO said that the late Prophet Nwoko was allegedly found dead in his room at Ezebungu Street of Ugbene 2 axis of Trans Ekulu, Enugu.

“The Commissioner of Police, Mr Sulaiman Balarabe, on receipt of the report, directed the operatives of the homicide section of the state Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to conduct diligent investigations,”  the statement noted.

“The commissioner has directed them to unravel the mystery and bring those behind who may be behind it to book.”

Amaraizu, however, said that the body of the deceased had been deposited at the Collier Hospital mortuary while investigations continued.

4. Biafra: IPOB Reacts To Murder Of Prophet Nwoko

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said the Nigerian Army should be held responsible in any foul play in the death of its member Prophet Anthony Nwoko.

Concise News understands that Prophet Nwoko was murdered in his Enugu home on Friday and has before then, severed relationship with the leader of the pro-Biafra group, Nnamdi Kanu.
