LASEPA Seals Bayrock, Others in Lekki Over Noise Pollution

The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA, has sealed Bayrock in Lekki Phase 2 area of the state.

In a terse statement on Saturday, LASEPA revealed that the action was taken due to Bayrock’s non-compliance with environmental regulations and the establishment’s role in contributing to noise pollution.

The agency also stated that two other establishment’s were sealed 8n the area during the exercise.

The statement read, “In a determined response to recurring environmental infractions, Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, General Manager of LASEPA, led his enforcement team in the decisive action of sealing Bayrock, a prominent establishment in Lekki Phase 1.

“This action was taken due to Bayrock’s persistent non-compliance with environmental regulations and their role in contributing to noise pollution.”
