LASEMA, Stakeholders Meet On Global Emergency Issues

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, held it’s Stakeholders Meeting tagged “Global Emerging Issues In Emergency Management And Preparedness” today, Wednesday, 25th May, 2022 at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa-Secretariat.

The event had the following Plenary Sessions:
The First Session which was anchored by the Representative of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Special Duties & Intergovernmental Relations, Dr. Animashaun centred on ROLE OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS IN BUILDING whose discussant was the General Manager, Lagos State Material Testing Laboratory, Engr. Olufunsho Elulade and DANGERS OF BUILDING COLLAPSE whose discussant was the General Manager, Lagos State Building Control Agency, Arch. Gbolahan S. Oki.

The second Plenary Session was moderated by the Representative of the Director General, Lagos Safety Commission, Mr Adeyinka Adeniyi, Director, Public Safety and Wellbeing.

This Session focused on THE CHALLENGES OF CLIMATE CHANGE whose discussant was the Representative of the General Manager, Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA, Mrs Bisi Shonibare, Director, Noise Emission Control and FLOOD RISK MANAGEMENT whose discussant was the Director, Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources, Engr. Ajadi G.A.
