Lagos Reopens Mile 12 Market, Warns Traders

The Lagos State government has announced the immediate re-opening of Mile 12 Market, in the Ketu area of the state.

Mile 12 Market is a major foodstuff market in the state which was closed down by the government last week due to indiscriminate dumping and burning of refuse, filthy environment, and littered drainages.

The market was reopened with a stern warning to traders on the meed for proper hygiene and refuse disposal to prevent another action by the government which will affect their businesses.

Meanwhile, the Owode Onirin Market in the Ikorodu area of the state remains shut for similar reasons.
