In a compassionate response to the economic challenges faced by Lagos residents following the removal of fuel subsidies, the Lagos State Drivers’ Institute (LASDRI) has taken the initiative, on behalf of the State Government, to distribute food palliatives to members of the Coalition of Driving Schools in Lagos State.
During the formal handover of these vital supplies to the Association, Mrs. Afusat Tiamiyu, the General Manager of LASDRI, emphasized that this move underscores Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s unwavering commitment to the well-being of Lagosians. She urged Driving School Operators to interpret the State Government’s gesture as a dedication to road safety in Lagos.
Expressing gratitude on behalf of the Association, Mr. Bolaji Abayomi, the State Chairman, appreciated the State Government for extending this lifeline during these trying times. He reiterated the group’s wholehearted support for government policies aimed at enhancing the transportation sector within the State.
The act of distributing food palliatives represents a commendable step by the Lagos State Government to alleviate the financial hardships faced by residents, showcasing a commitment to ensuring the welfare of its citizens during challenging economic circumstances.
