Lagos Govt Clears Shanties from Blue Line Corridor

The Lagos State Government has continued the clean up of the entire Blue Line/BRT Corridor on Lagos Badagry Expressway all the way down to Iyana Iba and other parts of the route continues.

According to a post on X by the Special Adviser to the state governor, Jibril Gawat, the state government had done all forms of sensitization and awareness through radio jingles, stakeholder engagement and a lot more.

“The Work is now getting to Alaba Rago and its surroundings. The Special Squad leading the clean up is led by ACP Bayo Suleiman,” he added.

Concise News reported recently that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu urged traders and those encroaching on railway tracks to vacate the premises or risk being evicted by force.
