Remi Tinubu, the wife of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed confidence that the party will do well in the governorship and House of Assembly election.

Concise News understands that Remi had two weeks ago won a re-election to the Senate in Lagos State.

Speaking after casting his vote at his polling unit, Ward 9, Ikoyi in Lagos State, Tinubu praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (Inec) for a seamless exercise.

According to the lawmaker, the electoral umpire has not disappointed Lagosians and said the APC will be victorious in the poll.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the APC will fight Jimi Agbaje’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), among others, for the seat.
