KAI Nabs Miscreants in Crackdown on Environmental Nuisance

Officials from the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) conducted an early morning operation, resulting in the apprehension of nine miscreants at Bolade, Shogunle, PWD, and Ladipo pedestrian bridges. The individuals were detained for obstructing access to the facilities, preventing people from using them.

Furthermore, 56 individuals were arrested for illegally crossing the highway at Oshodi Oke and various locations within the state, neglecting to utilize pedestrian bridges. Additionally, 27 street traders were apprehended at key locations such as Victoria Island, Ozumba Mbadiwe, Ajose Adeogun, Ligali Ayorinde, and Adeola Odeku.

The swift action by Lagos State authorities underscores their unwavering commitment to maintaining zero tolerance for environmental nuisance throughout the state. Despite potential distractions, blackmail, or propaganda, the government remains steadfast in its efforts to uphold cleanliness and orderliness in public spaces.
